The great Astronomer & Astrologer of 6th Century CE Sri Varahamihira described the effect of the planets at the time of marriage in just 12 stanzas in 103 rd chapter of his work Brihat Samhita. In the 13th stanza he recommends GODHOOLI muhurta as the best for the marriage, without any consideration to asterism, tithi, karana, yoga and lagna.
Our culture & religion having given a great importance to marriage and believed that time of marriage has its impact on the future of the family, the guidance of Sri Varahamihira is worth noting.
